The Barnsley Doncaster Rotherham Waste Partnership has secured £77.4 million of Private Finance Initiative (PFI) funding
from the Government to plan for the treatment of leftover waste. Their plans are
to build a super waste incinerator.
It is estimated that the Waste management site will
deal with in excess of 200,000 tons of undefined waste per year, almost 600 tons per
day, delivered by lorries to the site from all three Boroughs.
How many will pass through your housing estates each day?
Despite requests, information about the
type of waste to be burned is not forthcoming however, similar sites burn

We Know they
will need a 65 metre high Chimney to share the pollution about the Dearne
Valley!
We know that,
despite using public money, the authorities will have no say in how and what
waste is destroyed on site..

Help 'Bad Harm' Stop Them
Hundreds of local residents have not been consulted about this proposal
by any of the three councils. The councils appear to believe they can just
go ahead and do as they please to meet their 'Green Targets'

'BAD HARM' to try to prevent this hazard from being
dumped amongst our communities. We need your help. Do you have any special
